R. v. B. Manslaughter

R. v. B. Manslaughter

The client was charged with manslaughter caused by a beating at a party. The prosecutor argued that the accused had exclusive opportunity to inflict injuries. Mr. Phypers established a seven-hour gap in evidence and argued that the crown had not met the test for exclusive opportunity. The court agreed and the accused was discharged at the preliminary inquiry.
