Michael Cheung earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology in 2020. He later graduated from Thompson Rivers University, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2024. In law school, Michael worked for the TRU Community Legal Clinic and the Alberta Civil Liberties Centre, and helped run the TRU Professional Clothing Donation Society.
Prior to law school, he worked in construction in British Columbia for 8 years. Michael recently relocated to Alberta from British Columbia, motivated by the positive interactions with Albertans. Michael plans to stay permanently. Michael is also fluent in Cantonese to assist those who are more comfortable speaking about their case in this dialect.
