Should I plead guilty?
If you want to guarantee a conviction, criminal record, and potential issues with travel and employment, then yes, plead guilty. If not, give us a call.
Is drinking and driving against the law?
In Canada, drinking and driving alone is not against the law. Breath tests are often inaccurate or deemed unreliable and excluded from evidence. Incorrect assumptions about impaired driving laws can negatively impact your entire future. Contact Advocate Law first, let us inform you.
How much is this going to cost?
Once we have an opportunity to review your disclosure (the Crown’s case against you) we will give you a quote for our services. It will not be an estimate, it will be the final amount you would pay, period.
Am I facing jail time?
Not necessarily. Hiring us to review your case will insure that you have a proper defence.
Can I represent myself?
While you can defend yourself in court, it is not recommended. Defending yourself in court can be compared to running a marathon barefoot. You don’t need running shoes to run, but it definitely helps!
Will you take my case if it’s outside of Red Deer?
Yes, we will. Our services are in demand across the province of Alberta. This is not a problem at all. You can see a preview of all the towns and cities we service across Alberta on our locations page.
