Sydney Palmer is an associate lawyer who serves clients charged with criminal and quasi-criminal matters throughout Alberta.
Sydney was born and raised in Killam, Alberta and graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2022. In 2023, she completed her articles and was called to the bar. She has worked in criminal defence throughout her legal education and career.
Prior to joining Advocate Law, Sydney worked at high-end defence firms in Edmonton and Calgary, alongside lawyers recognized as Canada’s top criminal defence lawyers. She has already gained significant experience working on all types of files, ranging from impaired driving causing death, aggravated assault, and murder to firearms, drug trafficking and robbery.
As a lawyer, Sydney is passionate about defending the rights of those accused. She understands that being charged with an offence can be extremely stressful and works diligently to alleviate that stress by achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
