RS had consumed alcohol and was accused of groping a female passenger aboard a Westjet flight out of Edmonton International Airport. The plane had to turn back and RS was arrested and charged. RS hired a lawyer and was convicted of sexual assault at the trial. RS was placed on the Sex Offender Registry. RS then hired Mr. Collard who appealed the conviction based on errors of RS's prior lawyer and the Judge. Mr. Collard won the appeal and the charge was set for a new trial. Mr. Collard won the new trial and RS is now free and clear.
